Summer Fun!

This summer has been so much fun and so busy so far! The most exciting part is that last week I finally learned to crawl forward! The good news for mommy is that I don't venture out of the family room - yet! I am just waiting until she isn't paying attention and I am heading straight for the stairs! I also spent a lot of time in my pool in the backyard, I am working on my tan!

I love swimming in my backyard! My favorite part is trying to pick up the toys in the water with my mouth, it is like bobbing for apples!
Look at me on all fours! Lucy and Auggie better watch out! I love pulling tails and poking eye balls.
This is my new ride, that 1st gear is kind of tricky...
I met a new friend last week, Reagan Baxter. She is the daughter of mommy's old roommate and good friend. We hung out with them a bunch when they were in town. Mommy tells me we will go visit them in 'Tucky and wear big hats and watch some horseies - cool!
This is me, Reagan and Brooklyn Parker playing - mommy, Reagan's mommy and Brooklyn's daddy all lived together when they lived in the Alley of Love. (That's where mommy and daddy met!) We had so much fun playing!
What are these chicks talking about??
Whatchu lookin at punk?
Happy Fourth of July! We went to the Mariners game - my first real game, it was so much fun! I slept through a few innings. :)
I am getting ready for my first hike!
Even though I am not smiling, I was super excited, I could pull mommy's hair the whole time.
We hiked in north bend with Justin and Rochelle, it was a BLAST! (Note that daddy is carrying me, not mommy. I guess she doesn't like me pulling her hair, I don't understand why not?
Auntie Gretchen got me a red wagon - I am a little apprehensive at first, It seems kind of scary.
BUT WAIT...this is SO much fun! It even has room for a 12 pack of Bud Light.
I love my new wagon!
Along with crawling, I also learned how to pull myself up, and noone was watching! Mommy came in and found me standing, very proud of myself.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, I am standing!!

I'm a Model You Know What I Mean...

and I do my little turn on the catwalk, on the catwalk yeah!! Auntie Kimmie (http://www.kimhildebrand.com/) did a photoshoot with me and I am GORGEOUS! Check out my head shots.

I am such a lady!

Having some fun with mommy and daddy.

Daddy and me showing our serious side of things.

Me and mama smiling pretty.

Squishy butt!! (Notice the placement of mommy's hand, she was ready for me to drop some hershey kisses at a seconds notice.)

I just need some 2 carat diamonds in my ears, that would complete this look.

My flash dance pose.

Who's hat is this? It clearly isn't mine. I look like I should be someone's driver.

Happy baby!

Still trying to crawl, thanks for getting me going backwards, yet again on camera - geesh!

GO HAWKS!! This is my game face. I am ready for preseason to start.

My First Trip to the Zoo

Mommy, Great Aunt Sandi and cousin Isaac took me on my first trip to the zoo! It was so much fun (from what I could see from my view from the stroller anyway). I can't wait to go back again.
This is not a picture of me, I am not that chubby...
nor is this a picture of me, that is a hippo silly!
Here I am with Aunt Sandi, checking out the orangutans.
Isaac and I hanging out on a grassy noll.
Isaac, mommy and me. I am beyond my nap time here.
So...sleepy, must sleep, but first MUST SWING!
This is my new expression, a crinkle nose and a snort all at the same time. "If you think I'm sexy..."

Finally a Picture!

of my two pearly whites...

Rollin Rollin Rollin

After hearing my mommy say "no she still isn't rolling" I decided to surprise myself and mommy by rolling during my nap! I scared myself so bad that I woke up in a panic screaming and crying. I have now realized that tummy sleeping is way better than back sleeping!
"Mommy HEEEEEEELLLLLPPPP"
Okay, not so bad. Now I just have to learn that I can do this anywhere, not just the crib. (as of publish date of this post, I have yet to roll anywhere but the crib)

Smarty Pants and Fun with Lucy

I am officially the smartest baby ever...
I got a new book, it is called "That's Not My Kitten" (I also have "That's Not My Princess", another fantastic book, I read it last month for my book club). Mommy read it to me a couple of times and by the third time, when Daddy read it, I knew where to put my hands to feel all the different textures and materials! I especially love the kitty's fluffy tummy! I now think that every book should have fun things to feel, and I take my fingers and scan each page of every book. I think someone should come out with a touch and feel "Good Night Moon"!
These are my new instruments, I bang them together and make beatiful music!
I love my puppy Lucy, and I think she sort of likes me. Mommy says it would be better if I didn't poke her eyeballs all the time.

Waterbabies!!

This week in waterbabies was VERY exciting and Grandpa Larry and Grandma Bev were there to capture the moments! We went under water 1,000 times, I went down a SLIDE and we did torpedoes!! It was scary but very fun.
This is the way we splash around, splash around, splash around!
Here is a picture of us doing Humpty Dumpties on the wall. We sing Humpty Dumpty and then when mommy sings "had a great fall" she brings me in the water...
and under the water...
and back out of the water!
This is a torpedo...our teacher takes me and throws me under water to mommy. Mommy goes under and catches me. She said that she just saw my big blue eyes coming at her. Why is mommy wearing goggles and I am not??
Here are the slide pictures...in the top one you can probably see the fear in my poor baby eyes.
I think I know what is happening, she is going to plop me in the water - and that is exactly what happened!! Mommy caught me under water though. It was kind of fun and kind of scary!
Then mommy gives me kisses and says how proud she is of me!
Blowing bubbles. Actually mommy is blowing bubbles - hey mom, do you know that I just peed in the water? You might not want to stick your mouth in there... ew
